Take a VR Cycle Ride Along the Colorado River

ColoradoRiverCycleRide

It’s time to lift the lid on VZfit Explorer – our upcoming VR fitness app that let’s you ride virtually anywhere in the world, from the comfort of your home exercise bike.

We’re pleased to announce that our very first Suggested Ride will be Route 128, along the Colorado River.

What struck us most about this ride, is the feeling of awe it instills. In VR you can really feel the scale of those sandstone walls, and see breathtaking details on the majestic formations revealed along the way. Each turn reveals another slice of wonder, crafted by nature, over millions of years.

It’s a truly beautiful ride, and we’re excited to share it with you – the VR fitness pioneers. Some of you can only fit a 20 or 30 minute ride into your busy routines, but there are hours of riding here for those that have more time. After 19 miles you’ll cross the southern boundary of Arches National Park with views of several features.

A good stopping point perhaps… or maybe you’ll go another 8 miles on the “the river road” (as it’s commonly known by locals) and hit the small town of Moab. In Explorer, it’s entirely up to you!

Sharing rides like these with our community is a real honor, and this is just the start of our curation process for Suggested Rides. In our first beta release, there will be seven more Suggested Rides, which will release alongside ‘Route 128, Colorado River’

Each one is a scenic 10+ mile ride, which we hope you’ll enjoy as much as we do.

One final thing….. we’ve got the whole world to explore…  and it’s all available from day one! Just bring up the VR menu, input any location you’d like, and teleport there instantly!
