1.8.0 Coastal Highway Update
Coastal Highway
- This is a new virtual ride through the mountains along the coast. Launching today with the daytime version and we’ll get a night version out soon.
Pin Point! (beta)
- This is a location guessing game where we give you a daily puzzle with 10 minutes to complete 5 rounds of guessing where in the world you started.
- Highest possible score per round is 5000, the closer to the exact STARTING location of the ride, the higher the score.
- We also include a practice mode where you can attempt as many different location guesses as you wish.
- Later we plan to include leadboards and potentially other Pin Point game modes
- Can’t wait to hear your feedback on this one!
Pin Point Tips - The braking and high rez views are very helpful here.
- Only riding time counts against the 10 minute clock in the daily puzzle, so take your time guessing and placing your marker.
- Time is not factored into your score, so feel free to use the whole 10 minutes.
- All starting locations are generated from an existing shared ride.
Ride Creation Changes
- The Create a Ride button has been moved to the Find a Ride page.
- When creating a ride from the game the GPS map now shows which roads have Street View data.
